Cruise around the Bay onboard the USS Potomac and learn how FDR used it in a bit of subterfuge leading up to his meeting with Winston Churchill to discuss the Atlantic Charter. You’ll learn how the San Francisco Bay became a busy WWII hub. You'll see shipways where newly constructed boats and ships were built and launched.
Cruise past the old Naval Air Station, which was a major facility of aircraft repair, and from where Jimmy Doolittle loaded B-25s aboard the USS Hornet, for the first bombing run over Tokyo.
