Stanford University is the home to the core of the Anderson Collection, one of the world’s most outstanding private assemblies of modern and contemporary American art.
The collection is a gift from Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson and Mary Patricia Anderson Pence, the Bay Area family who built the collection over the last 50 years.

Admission is free.
Public docent-led tours are offered:
Wednesdays at 12:30PM; and Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30PM and 2:30PM
Tours are free and do not require reservations
Tours at each starting time are offered on a first-come basis
Self-guided tours by groups of ten or more must be registered at least 2 weeks in advance. Teachers or group leaders must register if the group size exceeds 10 people. The museum can accommodate only one self-guided group of 40 visitors at a time. If your group exceeds 40, please request multiple tour times.
Parking is limited. Visitor parking is available on Lomita Drive and in a nearby parking structure at Roth Way and Campus Drive. On weekdays until 4PM, visitors may use marked, metered spots. On weekdays after 4PM and all day on weekends, visitor parking is free and visitors may also use A and C permit spaces.
